Tony Wilson Place is the location for HOME, which came out of a merging of the highly popular 1980s arts venue The Cornerhouse and The Library Theatre. It's a cinema and theatre centre, with a small art gallery, bar and restaurant.
Home's film director talk events are always fascinating, and it's popular amongst music film fans due to its programme of great music documentaries. It's definitely worth checking out what's on.
The shop sells some groovy stuff too.
To the back of HOME stood the grand Hotspur Press, allegedly Manchester's oldest mill, which sadly burned down in June '25.
