The Manchester Music Mooch is funded by the National Lottery heritage Fund.
As part of the project, Dig Media agreed to produce not only a mobile app and a website exploring Manchester's musical heritage and highlighting the city's incredible grassroots music culture, but it also promised to source, digitise and restore hundreds of heritage items - from photographs, flyers. posters, audio recordings and videos.
